Adoption Policy/Process
Our adoption process is designed to discover a devoted new home for the dogs in our rescue. Every step in the adoption process is imperative to ensure our dogs find the best home. NOBBR evaluates the dog as well as the adopter to ensure your new family member matches your lifestyle in every way. Adopting a dog is a large commitment and a decision that requires great thought and careful planning. NOBBR does not have a physical building where the dogs are housed and require approval of adoption application prior to meeting any of our dogs. A home visit will be scheduled once your application has been approved. Home visits are conducted to ensure your home is ready for a pet and that all family members are included in the decision to adopt. Adoption applicants must own your home or have approval from your rental agency and also provide all necessary references. The Adoption Donation Fee varies depending on the dog and is used to help offset the expense of caring for the dogs in our program. For more information visit our NOBBR Adoption FAQ's.
